We rely on admissions, membership dues, fundraisers, and the generosity of our donors for operations. Donations of any amount are sincerely appreciated and may be sent to: Northeast Classic Car Museum, 24 Rexford Street, Norwich, NY 13815. For information about planned giving or other large gifts, please contact Executive Director Robert Jeffrey at 607-334-2886 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The success of the Museum is also due in large part to the dedication of our volunteers, who serve as cashiers, guides, cleaning staff, office support, events assistance, and much more. If you would like to join our team, please fill out our volunteer application, or e-mail our Volunteer Coordinator Beth Jensen at email@example.com.
As a not-for-profit, our budget does not support the purchase of vehicles or other car-related items. There are a number of local, regional, and national magazines in which you can list your classic car for sale. The internet also offers a variety of options for selling your vintage car.
We do accept donations of vehicles, which may be exhibited, stored, or sold to generate operating funds. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, chartered by the NYS Department of Education. As such, your donation to us may be tax-deductible. To arrange a vehicle donation, please contact Executive Director Robert Jeffrey at 607-334-2886 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also accept donations of memorabilia, car-related collectibles (hubcaps, license plates, vintage car tools, etc…), and vintage clothing. As with donated vehicles, these items may be displayed, stored, or sold to generate operating funds. If you have items you would like to donate, please contact our office at 607-334-2886 or via email at email@example.com.
We are not able to provide appraisals of vehicles. We recommend that you contact a certified appraiser in your area. For less formal valuations, the internet provides a variety of free and low-cost price guides.
The value of a vehicle varies from day to day. For security purposes, we do not release appraised values of the vehicles.
Our Exhibit Committee is always on the lookout for beautiful and unusual vehicles for special exhibits and to keep our displays fresh and interesting. We start the display time at 11 months from April to May. If you are interested in having your classic car considered for exhibit, please send information and photos to Northeast Classic Car Museum, 24 Rexford Street, Norwich, NY 13815 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Most of the vehicles on display belong to the museum, but there are many on loan from members. Some have been donated to the museum in memory of a loved one. The themed exhibit changes once a year, and some of the cars in each exhibit are taken out by their owner and other cars come in. There is always something new and interesting to see.
We have two cars in the Museum that you can sit in – our 1926 Ford Model T in the lobby, and our 1933 Franklin Olympic, located in the Franklin Room. All other vehicles, gas pumps and ther display items are for viewing only.
Yes, the Museum is totally wheelchair-accessible. Because the exhibit area encompasses over 80,000 square feet of space, a full tour can be tiring for those with limited mobility or stamina. We therefore have 5 motorized scooters and a wheelchair available to our customers at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. We even have 2 strollers available for the little tots in your party.
Members are always admitted free of charge. Current adult admission is $10 per person. Student admission (ages 6-18) is $5; children 5 and under are free. Reduced rates are available to pre-booked groups of 10 or more.
